How To Jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 With Taig For Windows

We have tried to jailbreak our 16Gb iPhone 5s  running iOS 8.1.1 using Taig and it worked perfectly. It is extremely fast compared to Pangu. But the problem is Taïg is only available in Chinese version, at least for now.

You can download Taig via this link. And currently it is only available for Windows.

Now power on your iPhone, then do these things.

How to jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 with Taig for Windows
  1. Connect your iPhone to computer -- make sure iTunes is already installed properly -- and your device is detected by iTunes because it's needed for iOS restoring process in step 2.
  2. Restore to iOS 8.1.1 firmware (TaiG can jailbreak iOS 8.0, iOS 8.0.2, iOS 8.1 too)
  3. Disable the password and / or TouchID.
  4. Disable Locator My iPhone / Find My iPhone. Put it in Airplane mode.
  5. Then run Taïg (TaiGJBreak_1006.exe) as administrator then Yes.
  6. Be sure your iPhone is recognized by TaiG, uncheck the second box but leave the Cydia checked. Then hit the Jailbreak button in green color.

  7. Jailbreak process will start marked with a loading circle and when it reaches 100% you will see a smile icon, that means all the jailbreaking process is complete.
  8. Reboot your device if it's not automatically rebooting, once it's ON again you should see a Cydia icon appears on your device screen. Of course that means, your iOS 8.1.1 is jailbroken, congratulation, enjoy it.
