Jailbreak Square decided to take the initiative to tell people who are in deep curiosity regarding a simple question related to iOS 8 supported devices.

And since you are here, I will not let you down. You will find the answer. Just see the following iOS devices below and find out is your own included within the list, or it's not.
iOS 8 Supported Devices
iPhone

  • iPhone 4S
  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 5S
  • iPhone 5C
  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone 6 Plus

iPad

  • iPad 2
  • iPad 3
  • iPad 4
  • iPad Air
  • iPad Mini
  • iPad Mini 2

iPod Touch

  • iPod Touch 5G

A friendly advice.

A5 based devices like iPhone 4s, iPad 2, iPad Mini and iPod Touch 5G, if you own one of the said devices, it's probably a bad idea taking the iOS 8 to run on either iPhone 4s or iPod Touch 5G as it's being reported that the performance is essentially worse with some loads speeds over a second longer. The same experience happens on the iPad Mini and iPad 2, Several users have reported serious bugs on the devices, too.

If you happen have installed the update, and want to get back to the previous version, you can follow the instructions I wrote previously in how to downgrade back from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2.
